As a student of Blanche MacDonald, an integral part of the learning experience is conducting informational interviews with individuals in the industry. I have always had a passion for makeup artistry related to fashion, special effects and prosthetics. However, I also have a keen interest in business, thus for my interview I chose Racquel Lacson, the owner and creator of Studio 26.
Racquel Lacson is not only a master makeup artist but also a successful businesswoman who has established a company which offers bridal hairstyling and glamour photography. Studio 26 started out as a one woman show, but has now expanded into a full-fledged corporation featuring a team of nine artists and also a location in Punjab offering exclusive bookings with Racquel in the winter season. Studio 26 continues to evolve with current trends and upholds impeccable business standards.
